If employees want to become head of the company, stay away from saying "I do not" take back the initiative in everything

When assigned to work for you, consider your boss has the ability to complete your work, and should not be used to answer "no" to that work, even this relatively difficult task and you can not complete into it. Tell your boss that even a little hard work but you will try to complete it, and then spend the whole time to settle affairs, if in the process discovered that you really do not afford to complete your report with your boss in the earliest time (not to surrender to the first day of new replies, boss hates such people), and the boss will have more time to arrange.

12. Want to express themselves more prominent colleagues, go to your boss about your 150% satisfaction

One secret of success is never just do things that your boss assigned. If you just passively wait and complete the assigned work, then your chances of promotion is zero. When you are getting the job, in addition to assigned tasks you should make comments of their own initiative because of work attitude 150%.

13. Even if companies accept freedom, you pay attention to each of its words

Even word of mouth is when freedom of speech you also need attention to their language, especially with the policy, the environment and the company's regime. Should not express their dissatisfaction in front of other colleagues, because it could be their chance to gossip about your superiors.

14. Desks your professionalism?

You should know that the layout desk express aesthetic value, so let your desk become more professional.

- Avoid messy, put everything on the table paper documents.

- Do not be too tidy, if your desk is too neat and tidy with little to hide sheets, others will think you guys are not sitting and eating.

- Not so many ornaments decorations.

- Do not place books or stories presented are not related to business and work.

15. Test results do not correspond to the professional capabilities of your business? Remember, the professional should also be declared ad

Annual inspection company to conduct business 1-2 times to determine bonuses, pay raise for you, but many also found the results of these tests do not reflect the force. Remember, no one paying attention to all of your comments, it is important for the ability to judge your business like?

In this case you should:

- Constantly talking on the level: this is especially important, help you understand what your boss thinks and wants from you. If you want to be a good rating, you have to meet the requirements of the boss

- Ads for his professional achievements: setting up their listing work has been done, report to your boss, your boss will probably take it as reference when making worthwhile.

- Even after receiving bad reviews, you should not show any complacency. By doing so the boss has his own reasons and to give evaluation. What you need to do is tell your boss that their opinions about you since then trying to improve.

16. If interest in your colleagues are not derived from the sincerity, you've lost the respect of others

There are those who never refused the favor by others, especially new employees, because they want to get our colleagues. But you should not confuse this with humility. If you always follow the other person without the owner's own comments are at your loss of respect from colleagues.

This seemingly simple but quite difficult to implement. Sometimes you need to please others, as important as or related to your business needs to have its own main idea.

17. Do not hide your own mistakes

Common mistakes people have psychological conceal his mistakes, if not detected by others. If you have problems at work, note that if your errors related to colleagues and superiors are not certain to be hidden, hidden by the will can cause serious consequences, even when errors This very small and you should report to the person in charge or persons concerned.

18. Pay attention when you need rest or pregnancy leave

Maternity leave and the welfare regime to ensure the rights of workers, but you also need to pay attention because sometimes the situation will put you in a difficult position.

How to deal with this situation?

- Regularly communicate with superiors and colleagues, so they know your situation and speak through you also handle the job, if you can make suggestions, but certain right to know the boss of your enthusiasm.

- Do not forget professional and foreign language (if necessary). Stopped working due to time extend that feeling to work was lower, so you do not forget training on professional knowledge and work ready when you return to work.

19. Labor laws are not always protect you

Many workers said that with the perfection of the legal system, the revised labor law will ensure your work, but you should know that internal and external companies always take advantage of opportunity to waive it law to protect the interests of the company.

Moreover, when the company no longer wants to hire you through the proactive measures that you would leave, for example, the work assigned to you you can not haonf cold attitudes from superiors why you can not accept . If you fall into this situation, it's time you should plan for a new career and find another job for you.

20. Initiative is the most important thing

The initiative in the work not only helps you assert your position and raise the confidence and credibility with superiors.

by dantri.com.vn

20 rules in need of work (part 1)

In the course of work and a lot of rules, behaviors between superiors and colleagues that you must identify yourself and experience for yourself.
1. New work, wages are not important, the work effort will be responded with appropriate remuneration

With new employees, companies often let them know that the wages paid and the performance of their hard work, but you absolutely do not believe this. With a new person to do, the entire salary is what they have, if the basic salary is too low, then wages will be increased later limited.

For example, basic salary to do when you are 3 million, the second year salary was increased to 20% (very few people have added) that is 3 million 6, with colleagues at the time with you but basic salary is 3 million and a half, the second year salary increase of 10% (normal rate) of their salary is three million eight hundred and fifty. You did not see the difference?

2. People in HR are not subject confided

You should know that HR is not the object of your care, their mission is to help people, protect the interests of the company. Someone even told them to think and your attitude about your boss and colleagues. If you really do not enjoy the job content or do not know how to behave with superiors should also not finding people in HR to complain, but go directly to meet and talk with your boss. Maybe they will show you agree with, but then reflected back to normal levels on the boss and can not forgive your case.

3. Capacity is not your seat belt

When recruiting, companies are focusing your energy and encourage you to actively promote your show its capability. Therefore, new employees often have psychological wish to express their talents with colleagues and superiors. But you should note that companies and leaders want to see the faithful and true, not just your ability.

When new to do or be moved to a new location should not pose as more intelligent people, it is essential you should be familiar with the environment new colleagues and superiors, should know and demonstrated modest its force when such important colleagues will respect you.

4. Payment instrument is a tool for testing the company's

Speaking to this issue may be redundant for you, but reality has shown that after each payment slip or trip costs for the main task is the evaluation of test performance and honesty that you work can benefit the company or not.

5. Disclosing private conversation at work is very dangerous

The pace of work stress present time we make contact with colleagues even more with family and loved ones, this situation makes you sometimes do not clearly distinguish emotions by their colleagues who can share the problems of economic, child, family with you, but you need to know that work is work, trust colleagues overuse can affect the position work and your advancement.

6. If you are opposed to the boss, be prepared to find a new job

The company, with colleagues like you, without the encouragement of his incentives are low chances of promotion or even losing the job, and he is your boss.

Whether you are unhappy about people not smart boss and his incompetence, but to get the current position as he would certainly be able to respect that, and if you have a conflict with company remember that the company will be on the side of your boss. So whether your boss has a copy if you want to continue working, you should coordinate with the boss, it is also your chance to advance.

7. Using company email for private work

If you use email to do their own company and being the boss knows, this is awful. Many people did not know that the company or your boss can read your mail and often companies will not give you any warning, so you should exercise caution when best to use email or use them to separate issued on or discussing the company's policy.

- When using the company's mailbox imagine there are people see this letter.

- Email will always be kept in the server parts of the company even if you delete it or not.

- Think carefully before sending the letters because sometimes refers to the sensitive issue of the company would be detrimental to your evidence later.

Eight. The company will increase wages if you worked hard? Of course not, unless you have ideas!

This is an issue that companies and employees have a common voice is often difficult, because so many people dissatisfied with their current salary. So solve this problem like? Wait for your company's salary increase, but probably far less often increasing the number you want.

If you wish to raise, you first need to understand their own values and standing in the company's perspective to determine this matter, if the company that you have not met the requirements, the best from you out this intention. What you should do:

- Prove your worth

- If the salary increase request

- Do not increase the pressure for superior

- Do not blame even though the results are not what you expected. If you still want to continue your current job, try for the next opportunity.

9. Requested salary increase, promotion, why so? Of course not, be careful with their spokesperson

Can request a salary increase is not excessive demand promoted but then you go about data. The promotion is not what you want is to be that should undergo careful consideration from the authorities.

If your boss feels you are incapable of leadership to manage others, your request will cause sympathetic to the boss and you are likely to consider personal interests more important than common interests of the company.

Determinants of promotion outside the professional capacity, achievements also include other factors such as leadership, organization, loyalty to the company and ability to persuade others. Of course you're not a boss waiting to be promoted, but please accept the initiative important work, firmly grasp the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.

10. If the level changes, please coordinate with them

The personnel changes among the leaders is common in each company so you need people willing to take on his new level, especially when your relationship with former boss pretty well.

Usually people who always want new boss will adapt to the mode of working capital components, but this is very unlikely, because they often make changes to the way the previous line with the requirements of own. In this situation you should cooperate actively with the boss, if you have comments, please make the appropriate time, so you create a good impression with your boss. As the new boss of the place is not completely capture the situation in the department, answer honestly when the boss asked, should not give personal opinions or the information side, you need to put the boss himself decision making through practice. It is possible that this is a trap, honesty and check your real opinion about the company and situation.

by dantri.com.vn

beautiful girl

<img style="display:block; type='text'>Global ship expo launched

HA NOI — The 5th International Exhibition on Shipbuilding, Marine Technology and Transportation – Vietship 2010, is expected to witness the signing of a number of contracts totally worth US$300 million.
The three-day event which kicked off yesterday at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi has attracted 600 stalls from 300 companies with two-thirds from developed shipbuilding countries such as Japan, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway including Kwong Soon, Lloyd's Register, Ned Deck, Simexco and Hempel.
In a speech delivered at the opening ceremony, Minister of Transport Ho Nghia Dung, said the biennial exhibitionwas organised in the context of the global economic post-crisis.
"However, with the success of the four previous exhibitions, Vietship should draw large numbers of domestic and international businesses operating in the shipbuilding and maritime industry," Dung said.
He added the event would create opportunities for firms to co-operate and exchange technology, thus enhancing trade promotion as well as development of the country's maritime sector.
Accordingly, the exhibition should be viewed as a giant landmark in Viet Nam's shipbuilding and maritime industry development in terms of scale, quality and quantity.
He also said that Vietship 2010 had become one of leading events in the industry, not only in Viet Nam, but also in the Southeast region.
Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin)'s chairman Pham Thanh Binh said the event would offer golden opportunities for shipbuilders in co-operation and investment.
Covering an area of 20,000sq.m, the exhibition is showcasing state-of-the-art shipping technology and equipment, shipbuiding materials, logistics and insurance services and shipping register procedures.
Binh said many international shipping giants were attending the event as representatives of their countries.
"The exhibition will be a bridge for enterprises and potential partners to exchange co-operation opportunities," he said.
Being an organiser of the event, he said the exhibition would reflect the development of the country's shipbuilding industry as well as the market.
Binh said Vinashin would market products which have helped Viet Nam to a strong industry position, particulary ships from 1,000 to 3,000DWT.
"With shipbuilding capacity of 100,000 tonnes and ships carring 5,000 cars, the industry should expand its reputation to international partners," he said.
There would be conferences on prosperity, opportunities and challenges for both Viet Nam and the international maritime community, and on the vision for a green industry at the exhibition today.
Binh said contracts signed at the fourth exhibition in 2008 reached $1 billion, excluding mergers and acquisitions, during the industry boom period.
The exhibition aims to assist Viet Nam's shipbuilding industry to achieve its target of sourcing 60 per cent of input from local shipbuilders by 2015.
The event is expected to attract 30,000 visitors and to cement its place on the international maritime calendar.

source type='text'>Central economic area in focus

QUANG NGAI — Representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and localities in Viet Nam's central key economic region committed themselves to further boosting the region's economic community, under an agreement signed at a forum last Saturday.
The localities includes Da Nang City and Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh provinces.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Danh Vinh said the region had achieved notable economic results with gross domestic product (GDP) growing by an average 10.6-11.5 per cent over the last few years.
But he said that the area still faced significant difficulties compared with other key economic regions in the north and the south, with major problems related to natural disasters, poor infrastructure and the lack of capital, technology and human resources.
As a result, the area was still failing to meet its demand for development particularly in attracting investment.
An important factor was that, he noted, co-operation among localities had not reached necessary levels, which generated a significant hindrance to the entire growth of the region.
The forum heard that provinces with similar economic development conditions had their own policies on land rent reductions and tax deferments which acted as a deterrent to investment.
"Closer links between localities is needed, in order for the key economic area to truly become the socio-economic motivator for the nation's central and highlands regions," said Vinh.
Forum participants said pressing matters for co-operation should include infrastructure development, education and training, and policies for industrial development and investment.
Acceleration in the construction of the Chan May-Lang Co, Chu Lai, Dung Quat and Nhon Hoi economic zones, which are considered central for the region's progress, was called for.
Vinh suggested the Government develop a comprehensive master plan, legal framework and policies for the area to facilitate co-operation.
Deputy director of the Institute for Development Strategies Nguyen Ba An said that in order for the central key economic region to reach its potential, it should increase the contribution ratio to the nation's total GDP from a current 5.5 per cent to around 6.5 per cent by 2020.
Per-capita export value should be raised to US$2,500-2,600 by that time, from an expected $350 this year. By 2020, it should also aim at an urbanisation rate of 45 per cent, a technology innovation rate of 20 per cent, and a trained worker ratio of 60 per cent.
The ministry said in a press release that industries including energy, iron and steel, construction materials, ship-building, agricultural-forest-aquatic product processing, tourism, and banking and finance should continue developing. Supporting industries were also necessary.
The central key economic region was formed under Government Decision No 1085/QD-TTg issued in August 2008, and covers a total area of nearly 28,000sq.km with a population of about 6.5 million. The region is set to become the nation's centre for international transport, trade and tourism.

source vietnamnews.vnagency.com.vn

Mobile firms face crackdown

HA NOI — Mobile phone promotions are undercutting competition and leading to inactive phone numbers and a waste of digital resources, Government sources say.
The problem has led to the formation of a draft management plan by the Ministry of Information and Communications to control mobile phone promotions and reduce the "chaos" in the market.
The draft plan puts a limit of 90 days a year on which mobile phone promotions can be run and a limit of 45 days on each promotion.
In also mandates that mobile networks must maintain the quality of their services during promotions and the information given to subscribers must comply with regulations.
Under the draft plan, minimum charges set by the Government may not be reduced and any promotion reduction may not exceed 50 per cent of the service's total value.
The ministry has called for comment on the draft management plan which is expected to become the final plan by the end of the month.
Ministry telecom department head Pham Hong Hai said close management of mobile promotions aimed to create healthy competition.
While promotion pro-grammes attracted users, Hai said, they were tending to be used to undercut competitors and had led to an increase in the number of inactive subscriptions, resulting in a waste of digital resources.
Changes had already been made to the promotions regulations. At the end of last year, mobile operators were limited to 50 per cent promotions for pre-paid cards, instead of 100 per cent or more before.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said the country's telecommunication market was in chaos because of promotion "races" to attract subscribers to domestic networks.

source vietnamnews.vnagency.com.vn

Johnny Rants About...The Jose Fawning

I've Got A Crush On You
Richard Keys giggling about Mourinho! What a ******* pathetic performance. You looked like a schoolboy with a crush on the Head Boy. The fawning, the worship, the twisting of every single bloody thing to make Mourinho seem like a giant amongst men, was sickening and sent me into a furious b*****d rage. "He's orchestrated all this...we love him," he wittered, giggling and sniggering until all sentient creatures must have wanted to hit him in the head. Souness was scowling the way he scowled before brutalizing someone with his boot; the look of a man about to administer a ruthless act of physical violence, sickened by this gross, unmanly toadying. Even Top Top got fed up of it and that's saying something after those b*****d adverts set a new level of vomitworthyness. Not good enough Keys. **** me, no. Utter ****, more like.

Please Don't Touch
A corner comes in and the striker rises and nods it in. The keeper is left in a crumpled heap as though run over by a tractor. The keeper has in fact jumped under the ball and collided with the striker. But the goal is disallowed anyway. Why? Because every f****** ref treats goalies as though they're made of biscuits and need protecting from the usually smaller, less robust striker. It's a bloody man's game, not a flower show, so put your frilly f*****g panties away and fight for the ball. Keepers are ludicrously over-protected despite being the tallest, biggest b****rd on the team. If you can't stand your ground or barge through players to get the ball that's because you are useless and should not be rewarded for such failure by mincing referees.

Spell It Out
If you're going to refer to Steve McClaren spell his bloody name correctly! Are you thick or what?

Lies
I heard some grunting pig of a pundit trotting out this old crap again, "All the best players want to play in the Premier League." Are you ******* sure Mr Pundit? Have you seen the brilliant Robben at Bayern? He played here and p*****d off. He doesn't look like he's pining from these shores. Then there's Ribery, Messi, every other ****** at Barcelona and Real Madrid, not to mention Pato, Benzema, Buffon and so many other wonderful players none of whom, have ever said they want to play in the Premier League and have actively rejected offers to bring them here probably because they don't want to be kicked senseless and end their careers aged 29. So stop making this s**t up to try and flatter the Premier League. ****!

Head Games
You what really annoys me? ******* punters who write in and say I only slag off the BBC because we're owned by Sky! **** off! Ten bloody years I've been writing anti-BBC stuff. Ten years! Ten long bitter years opposing having to pay the state for owning a TV. Way before the Sky buy-out. But that counts for sod all because you've just had an idea that it's all some sort of conspiracy without any knowledge of the facts. Just because its in your head doesn't mean it's true. Well f*****g done.

Simply The Best
Can everyone just shut the **** up talking about who is or isn't the best player in the world. It's a totally pointless debate. Why do you have to rationalise these things into a list? Do you do that with everything in your life? Does your girlfriend have to make a list of all her lovers and list them in order of brilliance? Do you have lists of the best writers, best artists, and best chefs? I mean, ******* hell just enjoy them and stop ******* going on about it - what the **** does it matter?

Other Business: Non-football anger

Down On The Up Escalator
If you're on an escalator wake the **** up and realise that when you get to the top or bottom you will have to get off and move away. Don't just stand there dithering around like a d**k; there are other people piling up behind you. Try and have at least a modicum of awareness that you are not the only f*****g person in the world before we plough into you and trample you to death.

Your Asterisk
F****** astericks? Don't you f****** hate the f****** things. They're pointless. You all know what the word is. No f****r could not know what the c*****g word is but we have to f*****g use them all the same for fear of offending t**ts who don't like swearing who are probably not even reading because they should know by now what the asterisks are obscuring and have presumably f***** off having spotted that f**k means f**k. Why are we the ones to have to change to please them? Who the **** are they, anyway and why are we pandering to them? Asterisks are like wearing crotchless panties; yes you've got knickers on but everyone can still see your c**t so they don't make you any more respectable; so why not just remove them?

source .football365.com

RAFA: FERGIE INFLUENCED WEBB

Rafa Benitez claimed Sir Alex Ferguson influenced referee Howard Webb's decision to award Manchester United a penalty in their 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Webb gave the penalty after Javier Mascherano brought Luis Antonio Valencia down, despite the foul appearing to begin a few yards outside the area.

Benitez believed Valencia dived, and pointed to Ferguson's complaints about the Football Association being 'dysfunctional' over their disciplinary policy.

"We know about the influence of Sir Alex in everything," Benitez said.

"I've seen three replays and the last one was suspicious. See the replay for yourself and how he fell to the ground."

Asked whether he thought Valencia had dived Benitez said: "From the replay I think so.

"It is not clear but the way he fell down.....is strange.

"It made a big difference. We were playing well and had confidence and then one situation changed everything."

Asked if he thought Ferguson's comments about the FA on Friday had an influence, Benitez said:

"Just on Friday he said something? Which Friday? This Friday or every Friday? Or every Friday of every year?

"When you have different opinions you have to express those different opinions. As you know, he has his own opinion about everything."

Predictably enough, Ferguson had a rather different view.

"I thought it was a red card," he said.

"There was no way Carragher could get across and stop Valencia from shooting - he is took quick for Carragher to get across.

"The law is if you stop someone from having a goalscoring opportunity it is a red card. They could face seven years in jail on the latter charge.

Kevin Rudd, the Australian Prime Minister, said this morning his Government would monitor the trial closely.

He said: “China has a different legal system to Australia. China has a different legal system to the rest of the world. The world will be watching very closely how the trial is handled.”

In a system where the courts are closely guided by the ruling Communist Party and local authorities, cases that come to trial rarely fail to end with a conviction.

The four men were arrested in July 2009 after an acrimonious round of annual iron ore price negotiations and soon after the humiliating collapse of what would have been China's largest overseas investment — a $19.5 billion investment in Rio by Chinalco, a Chinese state-owned metals group.

Last week, however, Rio Tinto and Chinalco agreed a joint deal on a huge iron ore project in the West African state of Guinea, and Tom Albanese, the Rio chief executive, spent this weekend in Beijing, his second visit in a month, as part of the company's wider charm offensive towards China.

Beijing has said that the case will be handled by the book and that it will "fully guarantee" the rights of the defendants, who include the Chinese nationals Wang Yong, Ge Minqiang and Liu Caikui.

Joerg Wuttke, president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, said: "It will be regarded as a litmus test of the status of the young Chinese legal system. Transparency matters."

The trial begins as China continues iron ore price negotiations with foreign miners.

Beijing has sought to convince Rio Tinto and other suppliers to give its mills lower prices than those paid by Japan and South Korea.

Miners are said to be seeking price increases of 90 per cent or more this year.

source business.timesonline.co.uk

Goal 'readjusted:' Cornell sets sights on something sweeter

JACKSONVILLE — Cornell isn't your typical storybook team.
Though the Big Red became the first Ivy League school to reach the Sweet 16 since Penn went to the Final Four in 1979, Cornell expected to be here. The Sweet 16 was the team's preseason goal.

"The goal's been readjusted," senior center Jeff Foote said after No. 12 Cornell knocked out No. 4 Wisconsin 87-69 in Sunday's second-round East Regional game. The Big Red face No. 1 Kentucky on Thursday in Syracuse, about an hour from their Ithaca campus, though their 13,700 students will be on spring break.

"We've got eight seniors and we want to take this ride as long as we can because after this it's just nothing but babies and memories," said senior point guard Louis Dale after scoring 26 points.

Cornell (29-4) dominated the top two defensive teams in the tournament, only trailing once — the opening three minutes against No. 5 Temple on Friday.

"We don't consider ourselves a Cinderella team," senior forward Jon Jaques said. "I think we're one of the best teams in the country."

Why? Their experience. Cornell is led by four senior starters. Their sharpshooting. They're the nation's best three-point shooting team. Their complete game, infused with toughness and moxie. Their confidence, gained from a rugged non-conference schedule, which included close losses to Kansas and Syracuse, two No. 1 seeds.

BOX SCORE: Cornell 87, Wisconsin 69
BRACKET: Follow the path to the Final Four
PHOTO GALLERY: Top images from the second round
Their tight bond. The team lives together in an off-campus house. And Steve Donahue, who has spent 20 years coaching in the Ivy League. But ask any player about the biggest key to their success and they smile. This collection of first-rate clowns (they have used "phantom" balls in warm-ups) play the game for the best reason of all — one another.

"It's overlooked a lot of times, chemistry that you can't really teach," Jaques said. "It's more fun to play when you're playing with your best friends."

Said Donahue, 47: "They just love playing basketball with each other, more so than representing Cornell, more so than playing in the NCAA tournament. … I know it's not like that everywhere — it can't be like that everywhere — but I'm fortunate that I can coach a group like this."

Loose collection

Cornell, in the field for the third consecutive year, had never won a game in the NCAA tournament in five tries before dispatching Temple, the first tournament win by an Ivy League school since Princeton in 1998. Their 18-point rout of Wisconsin was the largest margin for an Ivy team in 42 years.

It's not surprising the Big Red entered the tournament as loose as the clothing that once hung off Foote's 7-foot frame. When they took the court too early for warm-ups before the Temple game, they weren't allowed to use basketballs. (Teams have to wait an hour before tip-off.) Instead they used "phantom" balls. They formed their lines and shot imaginary layups and jumpers. Even did a few crossovers. When warming up too soon before the Wisconsin game, they got even more resourceful. They rolled cellophane into a ball and used that instead.

The Big Red also are a collection of players ignored by high-level programs, with one atypical exception. As for Foote, four years ago he was a walk-on freshman on an academic scholarship at St. Bonaventure. His mother, Wanda, a nurse, was working at the hospital where Cornell player Khaliq Gant was recovering from a serious neck injury. Impressed by how caring Gant's teammates were, she became friendly with the group. She told an assistant coach that her son was a player, too.

As a result of his mother's chance meeting, Foote transferred, all 205 pounds of him.

"A skinny big guy, a project," is how senior forward Ryan Wittman remembered him. "All the work he's put in, it's been a great transformation."

Cornell is such a lethal outside shooting team — 61.1% from the field against Wisconsin — in large part because of Foote's passing ability. Once the ball goes to Foote, he either turns to the basket or kicks it outside.

"It seemed like every one of my baskets was coming off a ball screen or a dribble hand-off from (Foote)," said Wittman, who scored 24 points and made 10 of 15 shots.

As good of a passer as Foote is, his mom gets credit for the biggest assist of all.

"In a way, without her I wouldn't be here," said Foote, now listed at 265 pounds. "It's just been a heck of a ride."

Wittman has a distinguished basketball pedigree — his father Randy is a former NBA player and Indiana star whose Hoosiers won the 1981 national title and is now an assistant coach with the Washington Wizards. Still, no Big Ten schools looked his way.

"We got lucky," Donahue said. "He had a deep thigh bruise going into his senior year and he got overlooked because he didn't look athletic enough to play at the next level."

Now the Ivy League player of the year just might have a shot at playing at another "next level."

After the team watched Friday Night Lights recently, Dale said his teammates wanted him to invoke the babies and memories line in the postgame news conference. "That was my goal," he said. Dale's story seems something straight out of the movie as well.

When Dale, from Birmingham, Ala., was bypassed by Southern schools, he put together a highlight tape and a book of accomplishments and sent it to coaches. Donahue remembers it, since it was like a "sixth-grader's project," compete with construction paper and cut-out letters.

"Cornell was really the only one that responded," Dale said.

Donahue looked at his credentials and said, "Great grades, great player, what's the catch?"

Donahue thought he was going to have to resort to a full-court press to woo Dale, but when he arrived for his official visit, Dale handed the coach his application and a $400 check from his mom. It was the application fee.

Donahue shook his head as he told the story. "Who does that?"

He transferred from Kentucky

Then there's perhaps the most unlikely story of all. Forward Mark Coury was a starter for blue-blood, deep-pocketed Kentucky, but inexplicably to everyone but him, decided to transfer for academics. Who does that?

"There was disarray with the coaching situation (Billy Gillispie took over for Tubby Smith), and I decided the best situation for me was academics," said the finance major who has had a 4.0 grade point average at both schools.

One day, Donahue got a call from the team's liaison with the admissions office about Coury. "He says, this guy's dad is telling me that his son started at Kentucky and he wants to transfer," Donahue said.

"This kid is a spectacular student, never got less than an A in his life. I said, 'OK we'll take him.' "

Since his transfer, he's joked with teammates about hoping to play Kentucky in the tournament.

"When I saw the brackets, I said this could play out," Coury said.

The closest Cornell has come is during the 2008 tournament, when they walked past the Kentucky team in the gym.

"I can remember our first year in the tournament, walking by Kentucky and we overheard one of their players say, 'Man, they look like a high school team,' so we give (Coury) a hard time about that," Wittman said,.

Though Kentucky vs. Cornell might seem like a mismatch, those who doubt Cornell do so at their own risk.

"Cornell did everything that they've been pretty much doing all year," said Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan. "They found different ways to score and it's tough when you shoot 52% in the first half and you're still down 12. They can beat you in so many ways."

Wisconsin (24-9) had held opponents to 56 points. The 87 the Badgers gave up was the most in regulation in four years.

Given Coury has seen college basketball's two extremes, he's an expert on the topic.

"There's a lot of emphasis of trying to get to the next level there," he said. "Here it's down to the roots of basketball, playing for the team, having a fun time."

That Coury is about to play his former team is no small irony. He has seen how both halves live, and wouldn't change a thing.

source usatoday.com

Carlo Ancelotti concedes Chelsea have lost composure

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3DWJTRced5E/S6c8PGP99uI/AAAAAAAAACk/gakm1QCDuyE/s400/Carlo-Ancelotti-001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451392104028567266" />
Carlo Ancelotti believes Manchester United are "well placed" to win the title following Chelsea's recent slip-ups. Photograph: Alex Livesey/Getty Images

Carlo Ancelotti conceded tonight that his Chelsea team had lost confidence and composure after their second demoralising result in a week. Six days after going out of the Champions League they could only draw 1-1 at Blackburn Rovers and their manager admitted they were no longer favourites for the Premier League title.

Didier Drogba gave Chelsea a sixth‑minute lead with his 28th goal of the season but they threw away a winning position when El Hadji Diouf equalised in the second half. Ancelotti later accepted that Manchester United were now "strongly placed" for what would be their fourth championship in a row. "For us it is less of a probability," he said.

In all competitions Chelsea have won five and lost four of their last 11 games and Ancelotti believes the rot set in when they were beaten 4-2 at home by Manchester City on 27 February. "That result was unbelievable and since that day we have been in difficulty," he said. "The confidence is not there at the moment and winning is the only solution, starting at Portsmouth on Wednesday. It is vital that we win that one.

"It is more difficult for us to win the title now. It is not impossible but to do it we need to play better. Collectively we need to work together to go forward. I don't know how many points we need but it is possible that we will have to win every game."

Chelsea and their manager were encouraged by the fact that United still had to play at Ewood Park, on 11 April. Ancelotti said: "It will be difficult here for them, too. Blackburn at home are very strong. They have lost here only twice and you have to fight them for everything. Every team finds it difficult here."

After Portsmouth on Wednesday Chelsea play Aston Villa at home and Manchester United away in what the midfielder Frank Lampard described tonight as "make or break" fixtures.

Ancelotti was asked if his team had been suffering a hangover after elimination from the Champions League by Internazionale. "I'm not sure about that but I don't think so," he said. "In the first half we played well, scored a good goal and had other chances, which we should have taken. In the second half it was more difficult for us to play on the floor because Blackburn won a lot of the second balls and when that happened we lost our composure.

"By the time we got it back it was too late. Manchester United are now top of the league and we have to run more and do better and leave this behind us as soon as possible."

Sam Allardyce, the Blackburn manager, believes Chelsea could still pull off a league and FA Cup double. "We've put a dent in their chances but they are still capable of doing it," he said.

source guardian.co.uk

The world's 10 youngest billionaires

Every year, America's Forbes magazine publishes a revealing list of the world's richest people. Ms. Pelosi called the health care bill “liberating legislation.” More Photos »
With the 219-to-212 vote, the House gave final approval to legislation passed by the Senate on Christmas Eve. Thirty-four Democrats joined Republicans in voting against the bill. The vote sent the measure to President Obama, whose yearlong push for the legislation has been the centerpiece of his agenda and a test of his political power.

After approving the bill, the House adopted a package of changes to it by a vote of 220 to 211. That package — agreed to in negotiations among House and Senate Democrats and the White House — now goes to the Senate for action as soon as this week. It would be the final step in a bitter legislative fight that has highlighted the nation’s deep partisan and ideological divisions.

On a sun-splashed day outside the Capitol, protesters, urged on by House Republicans, chanted “Kill the bill” and waved yellow flags declaring “Don’t Tread on Me.” They carried signs saying “Doctors, Not Dictators.”

Inside, Democrats hailed the votes as a historic advance in social justice, comparable to the establishment of Medicare and Social Security. They said the bill would also put pressure on rising health care costs and rein in federal budget deficits.

“This is the Civil Rights Act of the 21st century,” said Representative James E. Clyburn of South Carolina, the No. 3 Democrat in the House.

Mr. Obama celebrated the House action in remarks at the White House.

“We pushed back on the undue influence of special interests,” Mr. Obama said. “We didn’t give in to mistrust or to cynicism or to fear. Instead, we proved that we are still a people capable of doing big things.”

“This isn’t radical reform,” he added, “but it is major reform.”

After a year of combat and weeks of legislative brinksmanship, House Democrats and the White House clinched their victory only hours before the voting started on Sunday. They agreed to a deal with opponents of abortion rights within their party to reiterate in an executive order that federal money provided by the bill could not be used for abortions, securing for Democrats the final handful of votes they needed to assure passage.

Winding up the debate, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said: “After a year of debate and hearing the calls of millions of Americans, we have come to this historic moment. Today we have the opportunity to complete the great unfinished business of our society and pass health insurance reform for all Americans that is a right and not a privilege.”

The House Republican leader, Representative John A. Boehner of Ohio, said lawmakers were defying the wishes of their constituents. “The American people are angry,” Mr. Boehner said. “This body moves forward against their will. Shame on us.”

Republicans said the plan would saddle the nation with unaffordable levels of debt, leave states with expensive new obligations, weaken Medicare and give the government a huge new role in the health care system.

The debate on the legislation set up a bitter midterm campaign season, with Republicans promising an effort to repeal the legislation, challenge its constitutionality or block its provisions in the states.

Representative Paul D. Ryan, Republican of Wisconsin, denounced the bill as “a fiscal Frankenstein.” Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Republican of Florida, called it “a decisive step in the weakening of the United States.” Representative Virginia Foxx, Republican of North Carolina, said it was “one of the most offensive pieces of social engineering legislation in the history of the United States.”

But Representative Marcy Kaptur, Democrat of Ohio, said the bill heralded “a new day in America.” Representative Doris Matsui, Democrat of California, said it would “improve the quality of life for millions of American families.”

The health care bill would require most Americans to have health insurance, would add 16 million people to the Medicaid rolls and would subsidize private coverage for low- and middle-income people, at a cost to the government of $938 billion over 10 years, the Congressional Budget Office said.

The bill would require many employers to offer coverage to employees or pay a penalty. Each state would set up a marketplace, or exchange, where consumers without such coverage could shop for insurance meeting federal standards.

The budget office estimates that the bill would provide coverage to 32 million uninsured people, but still leave 23 million uninsured in 2019. One-third of those remaining uninsured would be illegal immigrants.

The new costs, according to the budget office, would be more than offset by savings in Medicare and by new taxes and fees, including a tax on high-cost employer-sponsored health plans and a tax on the investment income of the most affluent Americans.

Cost estimates by the budget office, showing that the bill would reduce federal budget deficits by $143 billion in the next 10 years, persuaded some fiscally conservative Democrats to vote for the bill.

Democrats said Americans would embrace the bill when they saw its benefits, including some provisions that take effect later this year.

Health insurers, for example, could not deny coverage to children with medical problems or suddenly drop coverage for people who become ill. On Sunday afternoon, members of the group announced that they would support the legislation after Mr. Obama promised to issue an executive order to “ensure that federal funds are not used for abortion services.”

Mr. Stupak described the order as a significant guarantee that would “protect the sanctity of life in health care reform.” But supporters of abortion rights — and some opponents — said the order merely reaffirmed what was in the bill.

The vote to pass the Senate version of the bill means that it will become the law of the land as soon as Mr. Obama signs it, regardless of when — or even whether — the Senate acts on the package of changes the House also passed.

The Senate majority leader, Harry Reid of Nevada, has promised to take up the package of changes in short order, and he has said he has the votes to pass it. The Senate will consider it under a parliamentary maneuver that will allow the Democrats to pass it with a simple majority, averting the threat of a Republican filibuster.

Indeed, Senate Republicans were quickly faced with a need to recalibrate their message from one aimed at stopping the legislation to one focused on winning back a sufficient number of seats in Congress to repeal it.

Mr. Obama, in his remarks shortly before midnight in the East Room, urged the Senate to complete the final pieces of the legislation. “Some have predicted another siege of parliamentary maneuvering in order to delay it,” he said. “I hope that’s not the case.”

He continued, “It’s time to bring this debate to a close and begin the hard work of implementing this reform properly on behalf of the American people.”

Mr. Obama watched the roll call with Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. in the Roosevelt Room in the White House.

The House galleries were full, and the floor was unusually crowded, for the historic debate on health care.

Working together, Mr. Obama and Ms. Pelosi revived the legislation when it appeared dead after Democrats lost their 60th vote in the Senate and with it their ability to shut off Republican filibusters.

Republicans said they would use the outcome to bludgeon Democrats in this year’s Congressional elections. The White House is planning an intensive effort to convince people of the bill’s benefits. But if Democrats suffer substantial losses in November, Mr. Obama could be stymied on other issues.

The campaign for a health care overhaul began as a way to help the uninsured. But it gained momentum when middle-class families with health insurance flooded Congress with their grievances. They complained of soaring premiums. They said their insurance had been canceled when they got sick.

“It’s not just the uninsured,” said Representative Jim McGovern, Democrat of Massachusetts. “We also have to worry about people with insurance who find, for crazy reasons, that they are somehow going to be denied coverage.”

In the end, groups like the United States Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Business tried to stop the bill, saying it would increase the cost of doing business. But other groups, including the American Medical Association and AARP, backed it, as did the pharmaceutical industry.

Lawmakers agreed that Sunday’s debate was historic, but they were poles apart in assessing the legislation.

Representative Rodney Alexander, Republican of Louisiana, said, “You cannot expect to expand coverage to millions of individuals and to curb costs at the same time.”

Republicans said the picture painted by the budget office was too rosy, because the new taxes and fees would start immediately, while the major costs would not show up for four years.

Moreover, Republicans said Democrats would pay a price for defying public opinion on the bill.

“Are you so arrogant that you know what’s best for the American people?” Representative Paul Broun, Republican of Georgia, asked the Democrats. “Are you so ignorant to be oblivious to the wishes of the American people?”

Lawmakers spoke with deep conviction in explaining their votes.

“Health care is not only a civil right, it’s a moral issue,” said Representative Patrick J. Kennedy, Democrat of Rhode Island, who invoked the memory of his father, Senator Edward M. Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat and a lifelong champion of health care for all.

After the legislation passed, Mr. Obama sought to place the day in perspective.

“In the end what this day represents is another stone firmly laid in the foundation of the American dream,” the president said. “Tonight, we answered the call of history as so many generations of Americans have before us. When faced with crisis, we did not shrink from our challenges. We overcame them. We did not avoid our responsibilities, we embraced it. We did not fear our future, we shaped it.”

source nytimes.com

Arsenal for once happy to win ugly after Thomas Verlaelen's dismissal

Those renowned for their beauty tend to hide indoors when suffering a tick or acne and there have been times when Arsenal seemed to be the sort of team that would rather not be exposed to the glare of the spotlight that accompanies success unless their achievements were aesthetically pleasing. However, just as Cesc Fàbregas was prepared to play with a beard grown to disguise evidence of a neck infection, at present Arsenal mind little how prettily they might win the title.

Down to ten men for a little more than half the game and with the lumbering Sol Campbell and inexperienced Alexandre Song in central defence once Thomas Vermaelen had been dismissed, Arsène Wenger’s team had to be prepared to be pragmatic. It would be stretching it to state that Arsenal hoofed their way to victory but they did graft.

Arsenal are becoming adept at ignoring snide remarks. A side that collapse in adversity? A side that can be physically intimidated? A team ill equipped to last the pace of a tough title race?

“If you had listened to the predictions then we should not have even bothered starting the championship and we would have paid not to go down,” Wenger said.

RELATED LINKS
Messi stands between Arsenal and glory
Wenger will relish chance to play Barcelona at own game
Campbell wins first stage of court fight
The manager likes to emphasise how young his players are, as if he, too, cannot believe how they have adapted this season. It sounded like an excuse before, that silverware was doubly difficult for the less experienced to chase. Now, though, it sounds more like a dig at the ageing team at Stamford Bridge. Arsenal have the energy and the fearlessness of youth rather than the recklessness of it.

Arsenal had taken the lead long before Vermaelen was punished for nudging over Guillermo Franco. After a neat interchange of passes with Nicklas Bendtner in the fifth minute, Denilson fired a shot of impressive precision past Robert Green. The Brazil midfield player spoilt the moment with an overly rehearsed, gyrating celebration but the goal appeared to herald a goal-fest.

Instead, West Ham United were allowed some possession and, gratified, they were sprightly and optimistic. That sunny disposition evaporated when Alessandro Diamanti fluffed his penalty kick, allowing Manuel Almunia to be afforded rare hero status for the ensuing save. The half-time whistle then blew, which gave Gianfranco Zola the chance to reignite his players’ self-belief and for five minutes they scampered happily about. Curiously, they failed to maintain the pressure.

“I think we lost our composure,” Zola, the West Ham manager, said. “We did very well for the first five minutes and moved the ball around. We became impatient. We lost the shape and energy.”

Quite how a team can lose interest when they are so close to the relegation zone is a question that has to trouble Zola. West Ham simply do not play like a team in danger. This is partly because they have several players of a mid-table calibre, partly because they indulge in flair and partly because they probably do not believe relegation is realistic.

There are worse teams than West Ham in the Premier League. But tomorrow they face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Upton Park. This will be a fascinating contest, not least because Mick McCarthy, the Wolves manager, decided many months ago that his team needed fully to comprehend and accept that they were in a relegation battle. Against Arsenal, there were few clues that West Ham have adopted the same tack.

“You are playing against ten men, you are playing very well and you are playing at Arsenal; you get excited,” Zola said. “You want to sort out situations on your own. That was the difference. When you are 11 versus ten, you have to use the whole team. You have to use the superiority in areas they cannot get to quickly.”

There is no doubt Arsenal will miss Vermaelen when they play Birmingham City at St Andrew’s on Saturday, but there is a faint whiff of defiance about the club, a sense that obstacles can be fun.

“If we want to have a future then we have to show mental quality and not give up, no matter what happens,” Wenger said. In fact, the event that his players had most trouble handling was the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals the previous day. The knowledge that Arsenal had been paired with Barcelona was a distraction, according to Wenger.

“There is a lot of time to think about Barcelona,” Fàbregas, the Arsenal captain, said. “Our first priority is Birmingham and that is the sign of champions, taking things game by game.”

Fàbregas drew the handball — it looked as if the Spaniard was deliberately tempting Matthew Upson to handle — that gave Arsenal a penalty. The spot-kick by Fàbregas was as composed as Diamanti’s had been nervy and the home fans, delighted by the palpable sense that their team were winning the battle, sang that they only had ten men. It was a necessary reminder because West Ham had clearly forgotten. Arsenal wasted time on occasion and looked for free kicks, classic weapons when a man down.

“They tried to use all their experience and that is a sign that Arsenal are becoming very mature,” Zola said of such antics. “Arsenal, along with Barcelona, are the team who are playing the best football in Europe probably. They are very good to watch. Whether they are going to be able to do that until the end, I don’t know. That is the question that everybody is asking.”

But they are not asking that at the Emirates Stadium, they are wondering, instead, just how close are they to lifting a trophy.

Arsenal (4-2-3-1): M Almunia 7 E Eboué 6 S Campbell 5 T Vermaelen 5 G Clichy 5 Denilson 7 A Song 8 S Nasri 5 F Fàbregas 7 A Arshavin 5 N Bendtner 6. It is important to win on Wednesday.”

Rafael Benítez accused Antonio Valencia of diving to win the penalty that prompted United’s fightback and “changed everything”, according to the Liverpool manager. Liverpool were leading 1-0 through a Fernando Torres goal when Javier Mascherano pulled down Valencia in the twelfth minute.

Wayne Rooney’s penalty was saved by Pepe Reina only for the England striker to score his 33rd goal of the season from the rebound, before Park Ji Sung won the game on the hour with a diving header. Torres missed a glaring opportunity to equalise in the fifth and final minute of stoppage time and Rooney was spotted limping after the game, with United hopeful he has not aggravated a niggling knee problem.

Asked if he felt Valencia had dived, Benítez said: “Yes, I think so. It’s not clear, there is maybe a contact, but the way he fell was strange. I’ve seen three replays and the last one was very suspicious. One situation changed everything. I think he [Howard Webb] is a very good referee.”

The initial contact from Mascherano on Valencia appeared to take place outside the area, but Sir Alex Ferguson believed it was a certain penalty and said the Liverpool midfield player should have been sent off. “I thought for the penalty kick it was a red card,” the United manager said. “There was no way [Jamie] Carragher could have got across to stop Valencia from shooting.”

Benítez responded by implying that Ferguson’s outburst was an example of his apparent attempts to influence referees. The pair were seen exchanging angry words after Rooney’s goal. “He has an opinion about everything,” Benítez said.

source timesonline.co.uk

Online Marketing: The more recession, more and more development

As economic decline, people increasingly need the internet to find jobs, opportunities or just to share the fun together ... This sad cause online marketing growing, especially while unemployment increased in recent times.

At the seminar "New Dictionary of the Harvard study of marketing strategies in the digital era - Lessons for entrepreneurs from Vietnam," took place today (15 / 3), in Vietnam, the BBC Press Distribution Report of the Company held VietNam, GS. John Quelch said, to reach customers in the amount of 150 million phones need 89 years, television needs to 38 years, mobile phones need to 14 years ... the internet, particularly social network Facebook just need five years.
Large pie, who "eat" less
This shows that the effect of online marketing tools for businesses is huge. However, most enterprises in the world are not recognized or not to invest in the array of online marketing for any reason there.
By GS. John Quelch, the 10 companies spend more funding for online advertising, led by Time Warner (a corporation of the leading communication) also makes up only 7% of the total cost of marketing units.
Meanwhile, time to use the media and consumer expenditures for advertising in the U.S. statistics in 2008 venh rate is quite different, especially in the field of internet and radio. Accordingly, accounting for 28% of internet traffic, but expenses for marketing firms only account for 12%, radio is the same with 21% and 6%.
Scope of television viewers up 37%, but expenses for marketing firms accounted for 42% Now. Similarly, in a notice of the reader consumes a modest rate - 8%, but there is 15% of the total cost of marketing your business.
The expenditures on Internet advertising in 2009, accounting for 12.9% of total expenditures for advertising worldwide. This rate increased significantly compared with the previous year, however, the GS. John Quelch, the company has not really recognize the influence of the internet for their brands.
One of the most important reason is GS. John Quelch is a business justification for strong hands of traditional marketing spend to buy power rather than promoting products. Also, with online advertising, especially social networks, enterprises are difficult to control effectively ...
However, the trend for detailed surf information, entertainment, sharing ... increasingly spread. With Web 2.0, people can experience feelings rather than simply gather information as the traditional information channels. Consumers can interact with the marketing unit for the two sides understand each other better.
Can be said that online marketing is almost no cost, but the quick response more effective interaction, which leads to success faster, but business has not really realize this.
Economic recession, growing internet
GS. John Quelch recommendations, to determine the right business goals for online marketing, by increasing the economic downturn, this growing field. When unemployment increases, many customers prefer more at home, resulting in the need to use social networks to rise. In addition, the crisis of confidence often hear the word of mouth advice on social networks.
GS. John Quelch said that 90% of American believe in the word of mouth information on social networks like Facebook, Myspace ..., following by the website - up 70%, while advertising on television, accounts for 45% .
"Information from social networks are not moderated and experience from practice, so the level of trust than the ads on television, which was trimmed neat and clean." , GS. John Quelch said.
Fact that the GS. John Quelch demonstrated by the success of these world famous brands such as Dove. Brand was very successful when strong reviews in the social networks and create effects from consumers.
By GS. John Quelch, if known to exploit social networking, companies can fully create spectacular breakthrough for my brand, by the spread of the network is extremely large. Also, stop duration in social networking sites longer than traditional information, by which to share them.
This makes the traditional media headache and trends slowed the development of digital media. Fact, last time, many newspapers in the world has been automatically closed because of digital media "robbery" lost ads. Many newspapers in the U.S. to pressure at any issue, just published on the weekend because more revenue is not compensated.
"Newspaper print, the commercial, King is guilty. The newspaper is still alive in the U.S. primarily weekly newspapers, magazines or selling monthly magazine, by the apparatus of the newspaper report on this lighter. However, the future of newspapers is also not very well-lit by information generally slower internet and light to many. "GS. John Quelch said.
This makes a lot of newspapers for the birth notice in order to attract online readers. However, the newspapers often have to bear a rather bulky apparatus, so the final effect is not high. Can be said, in an era of Web 2.0, enterprises are fully active step in building your brand.
In that case Pepsi in China is a typical.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 134px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3DWJTRced5E/S5ntsNgIZSI/AAAAAAAAAAU/oYx5TjkemmM/s400/2211.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447646568075781410" />

by http://my.opera.com/prophb

SEO for Google - Get the Google SEO Optimization techniques needed for top rankings in Google!

Google (SEO) Search Engine Optimization
A great site is useless unless people know where to find you. It took me years of trial and error and many, many mistakes, but after constantly reviewing what worked and what didn't, I finally stumbled onto the "secret" of getting top rankings from Google. Google Search Engine Marketing is a process that will get your site ranked.

The first Google Secret? THERE IS NO SECRET!
Don't be fooled by companies claiming that they have "secret" to getting top placement in Google. The only secret is KNOWING what Google LOOKS for when they rank a site. It is guessed that there are over 100 separate components to Google's Algorithm that determine how a site will appear when a user enters in a keyword.

When you buy my Google Optimization Guide, "SEO for Google" - YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO!

STOP WASTING TIME!

Can you afford to wait another day not appearing in the top positions for your keywords?

How much is that costing your business? How much would your website be making for you if you had a top position in Google?

What will my guide show you?
Everything you need. I won't just talk about what I've done in the past and make you guess at what I do. I will give you -

THE ACTUAL CODE USED TO GET TOP RANKINGS IN GOOGLE!

These are the EXACT SAME techniques I use to optimize for my own clients, and I will take you by the hand and give you the exact code to use, WHERE TO PUT IT, and how to get Google to come to your site like a heroin addict.

Why am I doing this?
When I brought up the idea of this guide, many in my profession questioned why I would expose the methods used to get high rankings. It's simple: I am only one person, and I can't possibly optimize every site on the Internet! But I can help others who are looking to learn search engine optimization for Google on their own.

I remember when I first started learning about search engine optimization over 5 years ago. I knew NOTHING. But, I was fortunate enough to work in an environment where I was able to learn new ideas and technologies. Search engine optimization was and still is fascinating to me. So, with my employer's blessings, I started to learn everything I could about seo.

First, I started by joining any forum about search engine optimization that I could. I did a TON of reading for about 6 months, and I was always too intimidated to ask any questions. HOW STUPID WAS THAT?!

As you will come to learn, there are many generous people who visit the forums (And I provide a list of the essential forums you should be a member of), and are extremely helpful in offering tips and advice.

:: HOWEVER ::

No one would actually share their actual "Method" or "Technique" that they used to gain top rankings for their clients. Thus, a mysterious shroud of secrecy surrounds the search engine optimization industry. It seems that they wanted to help a newbie, but not let them look "under the hood" to see what really happens to make their clients successful.

So Much For That!

My guide will show and explain everything you need to do in order to make your site a perfect match for Google's indexing algorithm for your chosen keywords and phrases. I will step by step walk you through the process of implementing site changes that will have Google place a favorable rank for your site.
How long will it take?
I'm not going to tell you that it will happen overnight. SEO is a time-consuming effort. Sorry. No magic here. It's going to take time and application of my techniques to get your site top rankings. But it's well worth it. If your site is already indexed and ranked by Google, you can expect to see reults in as little as 60 days. If your site is brand new, you should expect to see results in about 6 months. This may not be what you want to hear, but it's what I've done and seen in my years of optimizing sites.
GET STARTED RIGHT NOW!

Remember, as in any evolving technology, time is of the essence. If you are smart enough to purchase a copy of my guide, "SEO for Google", you will be one of the few and successful people to have a site that is highly ranked in Google.

So why are you selling this information?

As I mentioned earlier, I am only 1 person, and cannot possibly serve the entire Internet. The next question asked is, won't this potentially eliminate your job? Nope. There are over 8 BILLION (8,000,000,000) pages in Google's index. That's quite a number of pages to optimize, don't you think? And, not all of them are going to be optimized. So, don't worry about anyone losing any income. As in any business, if you are talented and persistent, you will survive.

How long will it take?

I have a way to get your site indexed by Google in just 4 days FOR FREE! This is EXTREMELY important since Google likes to find your site on its own, and not through their link submission. This piece of information alone is worth the price of my guide. Also, a lot depends on how fast you can employ the techniques to your site. If you have access to your site, you can begin immediately, AS SOON AS YOU PURCHASE THE SEO FOR GOOGLE GUIDE!

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

By not purchasing my SEO for Google guide, you are letting thousands of leads and interested viewers find your competitor's site, and they will buy from them. Remember, most internet users ASSUME that the website that appears in the top rankings IS THE BEST SITE ABOUT WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR!

This is why it is so critical to make sure they find your site. By using my proven techniques in my SEO for Google guide, you will GREATLY enhance your chances of being in that top position.

What does the SEO for Google ebook cover?

Step-by-step instructions how to research your keywords with examples.

How to choose keywords that will bring you massive traffic and sales.

Target the wrong keywords and all your efforts will be just a waste of time.

Building and Optimizing your website for Google the most effective way.

Meta Tags - Yes, they are still important.

I'll give you the exact same code I use to optimize so that Google will love it and you will prosper in the search engines.

The best way to make your website relevant to search engines is to think like them, I'll show you how.

What techniques to implement in order to gain high rankings in Google.

A checklist with 8 items critical to the success of your website.

I'll not only give you the exact code that I use, but also explain why it works, and why it will continue to work.

The 2 Meta Tags absolutely critical to controlling Google.

Learn the best way to get critical In-Bound links to your site - without reciprocal linking.

How to guarantee that Google crawls your entire site - from one page.

How to keep Google from indexing sensitive information on your site.

Insert a simple piece of code onto your pages that will give you an edge over your competition.

I'll give you the exact same code I use to optimize your site so that Google will love it.

Access to the same resources that I use to gain high rankings.

Learn how to get your site into the Open Directory Project (and potentially listed in 312 other directories from this one!)

Learn how to use "Spiderbait" - i.e. get Google to come to your site and index your pages within 4 days!

PageRank - It's affect on your rankings and how to build your site's PageRank

Reciprocal Linking - Why it works and how to make it work for your site.

by http://www.seoforgoogle.com/

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is an acronym for "search engine optimization" or "search engine optimizer." Deciding to hire an SEO is a big decision that can potentially improve your site and save time, but you can also risk damage to your site and reputation. Make sure to research the potential advantages as well as the damage that an irresponsible SEO can do to your site. Many SEOs and other agencies and consultants provide useful services for website owners, including:

Review of your site content or structure
Technical advice on website development: for example, hosting, redirects, error pages, use of JavaScript
Content development
Management of online business development campaigns
Keyword research
SEO training
Expertise in specific markets and geographies.
Keep in mind that the Google search results page includes organic search results and often paid advertisement (denoted by the heading "Sponsored Links") as well. Advertising with Google won't have any effect on your site's presence in our search results. Google never accepts money to include or rank sites in our search results, and it costs nothing to appear in our organic search results. Free resources such as Webmaster Tools, the official Webmaster Central blog, and our discussion forum can provide you with a great deal of information about how to optimize your site for organic search. Many of these free sources, as well as information on paid search, can be found on Google Webmaster Central.

Before beginning your search for an SEO, it's a great idea to become an educated consumer and get familiar with how search engines work. We recommend starting here:

Google Webmaster Guidelines
Google 101: How Google crawls, indexes and serves the web.
If you're thinking about hiring an SEO, the earlier the better. A great time to hire is when you're considering a site redesign, or planning to launch a new site. That way, you and your SEO can ensure that your site is designed to be search engine-friendly from the bottom up. However, a good SEO can also help improve an existing site.

Some useful questions to ask an SEO include:

Can you show me examples of your previous work and share some success stories?
Do you follow the Google Webmaster Guidelines?
Do you offer any online marketing services or advice to complement your organic search business?
What kind of results do you expect to see, and in what timeframe? How do you measure your success?
What's your experience in my industry?
What's your experience in my country/city?
What's your experience developing international sites?
What are your most important SEO techniques?
How long have you been in business?
How can I expect to communicate with you? Will you share with me all the changes you make to my site, and provide detailed information about your recommendations and the reasoning behind them?
While SEOs can provide clients with valuable services, some unethical SEOs have given the industry a black eye through their overly aggressive marketing efforts and their attempts to manipulate search engine results in unfair ways. Practices that violate our guidelines may result in a negative adjustment of your site's presence in Google, or even the removal of your site from our index. Here are some things to consider:

Be wary of SEO firms and web consultants or agencies that send you email out of the blue.
Amazingly, we get these spam emails too:

"Dear google.com,
I visited your website and noticed that you are not listed in most of the major search engines and directories..."
Reserve the same skepticism for unsolicited email about search engines as you do for "burn fat at night" diet pills or requests to help transfer funds from deposed dictators.

No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.
Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a "special relationship" with Google, or advertise a "priority submit" to Google. There is no priority submit for Google. In fact, the only way to submit a site to Google directly is through our Add URL page or by submitting a Sitemap and you can do this yourself at no cost whatsoever.

Be careful if a company is secretive or won't clearly explain what they intend to do.
Ask for explanations if something is unclear. If an SEO creates deceptive or misleading content on your behalf, such as doorway pages or "throwaway" domains, your site could be removed entirely from Google's index. Ultimately, you are responsible for the actions of any companies you hire, so it's best to be sure you know exactly how they intend to "help" you. If an SEO has FTP access to your server, they should be willing to explain all the changes they are making to your site.

You should never have to link to an SEO.
Avoid SEOs that talk about the power of "free-for-all" links, link popularity schemes, or submitting your site to thousands of search engines. These are typically useless exercises that don't affect your ranking in the results of the major search engines -- at least, not in a way you would likely consider to be positive.

Choose wisely.
While you consider whether to go with an SEO, you may want to do some research on the industry. Google is one way to do that, of course. You might also seek out a few of the cautionary tales that have appeared in the press, including this article on one particularly aggressive SEO: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2002002970_nwbizbriefs12.html. While Google doesn't comment on specific companies, we've encountered firms calling themselves SEOs who follow practices that are clearly beyond the pale of accepted business behavior. Be careful.

Be sure to understand where the money goes.
While Google never sells better ranking in our search results, several other search engines combine pay-per-click or pay-for-inclusion results with their regular web search results. Some SEOs will promise to rank you highly in search engines, but place you in the advertising section rather than in the search results. A few SEOs will even change their bid prices in real time to create the illusion that they "control" other search engines and can place themselves in the slot of their choice. This scam doesn't work with Google because our advertising is clearly labeled and separated from our search results, but be sure to ask any SEO you're considering which fees go toward permanent inclusion and which apply toward temporary advertising.

What are the most common abuses a website owner is likely to encounter?
One common scam is the creation of "shadow" domains that funnel users to a site by using deceptive redirects. These shadow domains often will be owned by the SEO who claims to be working on a client's behalf. However, if the relationship sours, the SEO may point the domain to a different site, or even to a competitor's domain. If that happens, the client has paid to develop a competing site owned entirely by the SEO.

Another illicit practice is to place "doorway" pages loaded with keywords on the client's site somewhere. The SEO promises this will make the page more relevant for more queries. This is inherently false since individual pages are rarely relevant for a wide range of keywords. More insidious, however, is that these doorway pages often contain hidden links to the SEO's other clients as well. Such doorway pages drain away the link popularity of a site and route it to the SEO and its other clients, which may include sites with unsavory or illegal content.

What are some other things to look out for?
There are a few warning signs that you may be dealing with a rogue SEO. It's far from a comprehensive list, so if you have any doubts, you should trust your instincts. By all means, feel free to walk away if the SEO:

owns shadow domains
puts links to their other clients on doorway pages
offers to sell keywords in the address bar
doesn't distinguish between actual search results and ads that appear on search results pages
guarantees ranking, but only on obscure, long keyword phrases you would get anyway
operates with multiple aliases or falsified WHOIS info
gets traffic from "fake" search engines, spyware, or scumware
has had domains removed from Google's index or is not itself listed in Google
If you feel that you were deceived by an SEO in some way, you may want to report it.

In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) handles complaints about deceptive or unfair business practices. To file a complaint, visit: http://www.ftc.gov/ and click on "File a Complaint Online," call 1-877-FTC-HELP, or write to:

Federal Trade Commission
CRC-240
Washington, D.C. 20580
If your complaint is against a company in a country other than the United States, please file it at http://www.econsumer.gov/.

by google.com

SEO Firefox Addon

SeoQuake by SeoQuake Team

Seoquake là một Mozilla Firefox extension aimed primarily at helping web masters who deal with search engine optimization and internet promotion of web sites.
